Backend Developer Financial Markets & FinTech

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using Python and Java. Additionally, you will build high-performance microservices and data processing solutions, integrate third-party APIs, trading platforms, and market data feeds, and develop secure, reliable, and efficient backend systems for FinTech products. Your role will involve optimizing database performance, queries, and application scalability, collaborating with frontend, product, and business teams, participating in system architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making, and implementing best practices for security, performance, and code quality. You will also work with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems, and troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Python and Java. - Build high-performance microservices and data processing solutions. - Integrate third-party APIs, trading platforms, and market data feeds. - Develop secure, reliable, and efficient backend systems for FinTech products. - Optimize database performance, queries, and application scalability. - Collaborate with frontend, product, and business teams to deliver robust solutions. - Participate in system architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making. - Implement best practices for security, performance, and code quality. - Work with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-8 years of experience in Backend Development. - Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and Node.js. - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Web Socket integration. - Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. - Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Exposure to FinTech, Capital Markets, Trading Platforms, or Wealth Management solutions is preferred. - Understanding of NSE/BSE markets, F&O, market data feeds, and trading APIs will be an advantage. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong communication skills.
