System Engineer

Job Title: System Engineer Experience Required: 2+ Years Location: On-site, Bangalore, Karnataka Job Type: Full-Time Industry: IT Infra Partner Job Summary We are looking for a System Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows systems, IT hardware, storage devices, and network infrastructure. The role includes end-user support, hardware and software deployment, BIOS configuration, and assisting with IT infrastructure projects. Experience in servers, storage, and networking will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems across desktops, laptops, and workstations. • Perform RAM, HDD, SSD, and other storage upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting activities. • Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment. • Configure and manage BIOS settings, including boot sequences, hardware virtualization, security settings, and firmware updates. • Perform basic intermediate network configuration and troubleshooting, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN connectivity, switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and network cabling. • Coordinate and assist in IT infrastructure deployment projects, ensuring timely implementation and successful execution. • Provide technical support during installation, migration, and maintenance activities. • Maintain documentation of hardware inventory, network configurations, and project activities. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution and project execution. • Adhere to company IT security policies and best practices while handling systems and infrastructure. Preferred Skills • Hands-on experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals. • Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI configuration and firmware management. • Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues independently. • Experience coordinating or supporting IT infrastructure projects. • Additional expertise in Servers, Storage Solutions, Networking Devices, Virtualization, or Data Center Infrastructure will be an added advantage. • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Required • Diploma (Polytechnic) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related fields. • Bachelor's degrees such as B.Tech, B.E., BCA, or MCA.
