We are hiring Head New Product Development (NPD) Large Industrial Motors for one of our client. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to head the New Product Development (NPD) function for Large Industrial Motors. The role requires end-to-end ownership of product strategy, electrical design leadership, new product development, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective products aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the NPD strategy and product roadmap aligned with business goals and market requirements. Lead the end-to-end development of HT electric motors and rotating electrical machines from concept through commercialization. Provide technical leadership for electrical design, ensuring product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance. Drive integrated product development by collaborating with Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Testing, and Service teams. Lead product testing, validation, certification, and regulatory compliance activities. Balance cost, quality, performance, and time-to-market throughout the product development lifecycle. Interface with customers to understand technical requirements, resolve product challenges, and support key business opportunities. Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team while strengthening technical capability and succession pipeline. Establish engineering governance, documentation standards, design review processes, and development systems.
