About the role
Hiring for: A leading global IT Services & Consulting CMM level 5 company Experience: 3+ years Location: Mumbai Work Mode: Work from Office Role Summary: Seeking an Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Appium (mobile automation), and API testing. The candidate must have solid core Java fundamentals and experience in building scalable automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Implement mobile automation using Appium (Android/iOS) Perform API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP methods) Write robust XPath/CSS locators for dynamic elements Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines Analyze failures, debug issues, and improve test coverage Mandatory Skills: Hands-on with Appium for mobile testing Experience in API automation (REST Assured/Postman) Strong Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, Java 8+) Expertise in XPath, DOM handling, waits/synchronization Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git Good to Have: BDD (Cucumber), cloud testing (BrowserStack)CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Basic SQL, Agile experience Interested candidates can share their updated resume at sugan.g@taggd.in.
