Network and Network Security Administrator

Role Overview: As a Deputy Manager 1 in the IT department, you will be responsible for network and network security administration. Your role is crucial as it involves providing production support for critical applications and may require working in morning/afternoon shifts. You should be willing to extend beyond regular working hours when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. - Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers and switches. - Coordinate with System Integrators and OEMs for designing deployments and technologies, and prepare documentation for management review. - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot problems, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects for optimization. - Troubleshoot LAN/WAN with protocols such as HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSEC, and GRE. - Maintain inventory, adhere to configuration and change management policies, and prepare reports and budgets. - Define network policies and procedures, update documentation, and deploy network monitoring tools. - Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for network communication systems. - Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot network security devices like firewalls, IPS, and proxy servers. - Understand network security requirements, maintain firewalls, VPNs, and coordinate with SOC vendors for security incidents. - Train employees in security awareness, analyze security incidents, and prepare reports documenting incidents. Qualifications Required: - BE/B Tech - CCNA/CCNP-Routing, Switching certification - CCSA/CCSE certification Additional Details: - Ability to quickly learn new technologies and products, communicate incidents to upper management, work independently and in a team environment, and follow processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, good time management skills, and willingness to relocate as needed.
