SAP Implementation Manager

As a Lead in the financial processes of the renewable energy business, your role involves managing the technical and functional operations and maintenance of systems like SAP, Hyperion, Lease accounting, and ASP / GSP tools. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this position: - Provide Solution Architecture guidance for identified projects, leveraging best practices and implementing automation to reduce manual processes. - Design and implement uniform SOP / controls across the business and architect suitable solutions for opportunities in the related domain. - Act as the point of expertise for external and internal stakeholders on matters related to the financial processes. - Lead and Implement SAP S4 HANA as finance lead, ensuring the implementation of controls and digitizing business processes. - Roll-out SAP across plant / SPVs and manage Service delivery of IT projects related to the finance function. - Manage SLA through in-house / external partners, maximize SAP utilization, and develop and deliver the SAP applications & product architecture roadmap. - Contribute to building expertise by mentoring, guiding, and training team members as appropriate. The renewable energy business is currently in a growth phase with ambitious plans to expand operations, requiring system-driven processes and controls. There is a need for system-generated reports / MIS, timely project execution without cost overruns, maximized SAP usage, and reduced time in ERP roll-outs. Additionally, there are plans to implement planning and budgeting, consolidation, and project management tools to support the business growth.
