Peoplesoft FSCM Techno-Functional Analyst

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Analyst to provide application support and functional expertise across key financial modules. This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) processes, working closely with global finance stakeholders and IT development teams. Key Responsibilities : - Provide end-to-end application support for PeopleSoft FSCM modules with primary focus on General Ledger, Asset Management, Allocations, Billing, and Accounts Receivable. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user issues within the ERP system environment, supporting Finance teams on O2C and R2R processes. - Act as a bridge between IT development teams and Finance stakeholders designing, configuring, and implementing PeopleSoft solutions for GL, Financial Reporting, Allocations, and related processes. - Lead requirements gathering sessions with Process Owners, document functional specifications, coordinate technical development, and manage testing and deployment of system enhancements. - Develop and modify PeopleSoft queries in response to finance-driven requests and evolving business requirements. - Support month-end closing activities, including Journal Entries, Ledger management, multi-currency processing, and GL Allocations. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency, data accuracy, and overall user experience. - Write and review detailed test scripts for Unit, System, Integration, and UAT phases; facilitate functional and regression testing prior to production migration. - Document configurations, processes, and solutions for knowledge management; conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with Finance Operations teams. - Analyze business needs, evaluate PeopleSoft system capabilities, and propose solutions that balance functionality with technical feasibility. - Serve as the single point of contact for new user requirements and enhancement requests from Finance stakeholders globally. What We're Looking For : - Graduate / Postgraduate in Accounting, IT, or Engineering with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in application support and testing of Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, preferably within O2C and R2R modules. - Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Billing, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Asset Management on version 9.2 or above, including understanding of the underlying technical architecture. - Solid grounding in financial accounting principles Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting. - Proven experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving both technical developers and finance process owners. - Deep understanding of the Record-to-Report cycle, financial close processes, and reporting frameworks. - Excellent communication skills ability to translate complex technical concepts for business users and articulate business requirements to technical teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively under pressure. Good to Have : - Functional knowledge of Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service). - Curiosity-driven mindset proactively exploring system capabilities and identifying innovative solutions beyond stated requirements. - Willingness to self-learn and continuously expand knowledge of PeopleSoft functionality, accounting processes, and emerging financial technologies.
