Wireless Network Engineer(Mumbai)

As a Network Engineer L2 located in Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. Your expertise in Cisco routing, switching, wireless technologies, network security, and data center operations will be crucial for this role. Your day-to-day tasks will include: - Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Routing platforms (ISR, ASR, C8000 series) and Switching platforms (Nexus 9K, C9600, C9500, C9300). - Deploying and maintaining Cisco Wireless solutions, including C9800 and AireOS controllers, and Access Points (9136i, 2700i/2800i models). - Operating and managing Cisco ISE, including adding network devices, creating policy sets, and troubleshooting authentication issues. - Utilizing Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation and assurance. - Configuring and deploying Fortigate Firewalls and managing VPN solutions with troubleshooting capabilities. - Implementing and maintaining routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. - Ensuring high availability and security through technologies like SVL, VPC, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, VTP, PVRSTP, Dot1X. - Applying QoS policies for optimized network performance. - Performing advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, and wireless domains. - Managing vendor relationships and coordinating support activities. - Preparing and maintaining Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD) documents and Network Asset Inventory. - Overseeing and managing Data Center network infrastructure operations. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree - Relevant certifications (CCNA Required) CCIE, NSE, etc. good to have - 6+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network implementation knowledge. - Strong proficiency in Cisco technologies, Wireless technology etc. - Hands-on experience with Fortigate Firewall configuration. - In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies. - Familiarity with Cisco DNAC and Cisco ISE operations. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Ability to manage vendors and work in a collaborative team workplace. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have experience with automation tools and scripting for network operations, as well as knowledge of cloud networking and SD-WAN solutions.
