About the role
As an Actuarial Consultant at our company, you will be a valuable member of our India team. Your main responsibility will be to deliver client projects effectively and efficiently right from the start. Key Responsibilities: - Hold a part-qualified life actuary certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in life insurance, preferably in consulting or life (re)insurance roles. - Possess knowledge and exposure to the UK insurance market and key insurance products such as annuities. - Demonstrate hands-on experience working with Solvency II or a similar solvency-based regime. - Have experience with Prophet modelling, including coding from scratch or making significant modifications to existing models. You should be able to review and debug Prophet code, interpret it, and replicate aspects of its functionality on Excel. - Showcase strong practical skills in Excel, including building models and utilizing complex formulas. - Display the ability to work independently and tackle challenges effectively. - Show a keen interest in keeping up to date with industry trends, tools, and important topics. - Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with global stakeholders.
