About the role
Responsibilities Create test plans and test reports Execute test cases, both manual and automated. Writing Python API automation test cases. Track issues both internally and in collaboration with core backend teams. Collaborate with peer testers and developers to improve testing processes and infrastructure. Basic Qualifications Bachelor degree in computer science or related field 5 years exp in API automation using Python Prefered Qualifications Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. Eperience with API automation testing frameworks using python (Pytest framework is more preferable) . Exceptional debugging skills and ability to identify root cause of a test failure ; to identify if failure is due to wrong test procedure, bad test code, a device issue or device bug, and/or a test infrastructure issue or other system/network issue A deep passion about testing and quality assurance Knowledge of Linux, OS X, and/or Windows System. Handling cloud environments (Kafka, DynamoDB etc). Experience with a Python scripting language Experience working in an Agile environment and working directly with engineers Excellent oral and written communication skills.
