About the role
As a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst at Talentra, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data processing, tabulation, and analytics as an integral part of a leading global market research and insights firm's research operations team. Your seniority will be based on your depth of experience and project complexity rather than a different role. Key Responsibilities: - Process, clean, and tabulate research datasets for multiple concurrent projects. - Conduct crosstabs, recoding, weighting, and data manipulation. - Merge cases and variables across complex data files. - Generate data tables, exports, charts, and visual deliverables. - Implement quality controls and proofing procedures before releasing deliverables. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Contribute to data standards, templates, and documentation. - Senior Data Analysts will lead complex studies, set quality standards, mentor analysts, and deliver client-facing data outputs. Qualifications Required: - Data Analyst: 1 to 2 years of professional experience in market research data operations. - Senior Data Analyst: 3 to 5 years of experience, including managing complex projects. - Proficiency in Q (Q Research Software) is essential for both roles. - Strong expertise in data processing tools like Decipher data tools or SPSS. - Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation. - Familiarity with survey design, recoding, weighting, and data visualization. - Bachelors degree in statistics, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Desirable Skills: - Experience with VBA macros or Office Scripts for Excel automation (Office Scripts preferred). - Programming knowledge in Python or R.
