About the role
We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform & Copilot Studio Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered business applications and intelligent automation solutions for manufacturing organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, and custom connectors with the ability to translate manufacturing business processes into scalable digital solutions. This role will focus on building AI-powered manufacturing assistants, workflow automation, operational dashboards, knowledge agents, and intelligent process automation solutions that improve productivity, reduce manual work, and enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Microsoft Copilot Studio & AI Agent Development Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio . Build conversational AI agents for manufacturing use cases including: Production support assistants Maintenance knowledge assistants Quality inspection assistants Supply chain and inventory assistants SOP and documentation agents Employee self-service copilots Configure conversational flows, topics, generative AI responses, grounding sources, and enterprise knowledge integration. Integrate Copilot Studio agents with Microsoft ecosystem services including: Power Platform Dataverse Microsoft Teams SharePoint Dynamics 365 Azure services Power Apps Development Develop scalable business applications using Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps . Build manufacturing applications such as: Shop floor data collection applications Production tracking applications Quality inspection apps Maintenance request applications Inventory management solutions Digital work instruction applications Create responsive applications optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile users. Design user-friendly interfaces aligned with manufacturing workflows. Power Automate & Workflow Automation Design automated workflows using Power Automate Cloud Flows . Automate manufacturing business processes including: Approval workflows Maintenance notifications Quality issue escalation Production reporting Document processing Supply chain alerts Supplier communication workflows Integrate Power Automate with enterprise systems including: ERP platforms MES systems CRM platforms SharePoint SQL databases REST APIs Dataverse & Data Architecture Design and configure Microsoft Dataverse data models . Create: Tables Relationships Business rules Security roles Views Forms Develop manufacturing-focused data structures supporting: Production orders Equipment assets Maintenance records Quality events Inventory transactions Work instructions Ensure data governance, security, and scalability. AI Builder & Intelligent Automation Build AI-powered solutions using AI Builder capabilities. Implement: Document processing automation Invoice and purchase order extraction Quality document analysis Classification models Prediction models Combine AI Builder with Power Platform workflows to automate manual manufacturing processes. Azure OpenAI Integration Integrate Azure OpenAI services into Power Platform solutions. Build enterprise AI experiences using: Large Language Models (LLMs) Prompt engineering Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Knowledge grounding AI-powered decision support Connect AI capabilities with manufacturing data sources to create intelligent assistants. Custom Connector Development Develop and configure Power Platform Custom Connectors .
