Backend Engineer - Node.js - Omnichannel Dialer Platform

About the Role: We're looking for a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain the core backend of our omnichannel dialer platform with strong expertise in Node.js, telephony APIs, and IVR systems, delivering reliable and scalable communication solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Build RESTful APIs using Node.js and optimize PostgreSQL + Redis data flow. - Develop and maintain backend services for the omnichannel dialer platform. - Integrate telephony APIs for outbound/inbound calling, SMS, and other channels. - Design and implement IVR flows, call routing, and automation features. - Optimize call handling, queuing, and agent management for high concurrency and reliability. - Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams to define and deliver technical solutions. - Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance standards are met. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. - Stay current with telephony/communication technologies and best practices. Requirements: - 35 years in a similar domain, with 12+ years in dialer projects. - Proven backend development experience with Node.js. - Strong understanding of telephony systems, APIs, and SIP protocols. - Hands-on experience designing IVR systems and call routing logic. - Familiarity with databases for storing call data, logs, and user information. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
