Mechanical Costing Engineer

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will work in the Mechanical Engineering - Costing team at the head office at Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for: Understanding the customer drawings with tolerances Understanding and arriving at product costs and sending quotes to overseas customers Calculating weights from engineering drawings/models. Corresponding with the customers Coordinating with the Suppliers Working with the Sales and manufacturing teams Entering the data in the ERP Desired Candidate Profile We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 1-5 years of experience. The candidate should be smart, have strong logic and engineering fundamentals. The candidate should be well versed with costing of engineering parts and manufacturing methods like Casting, Forging, Machining etc. They should be hard working and have good communication skills. Excellent written communication skills in English are a MUST. Key Skills:English Communication, Logical Thinking, Mechanical Engineering Additional Details Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai Candidates willing to relocate may be considered; however, accommodation will not be provided and will need to be arranged by the candidate. Working Days: Monday to Friday Saturday: Half-day (up to 3:00 PM) Gender Preference: Male / Female Working Hours: Flexible 8-hour shift Interview Process: Mechanical Costing Engineer: Face-to-face interview for Mumbai-based candidates, followed by a technical assessment. For outstation/relocating candidates, the interview process will be conducted virtually.
