As an AutoCAD Designer in the Events & Design department, your role involves translating creative concepts for luxury weddings, corporate events, and experiential installations into precise, production-ready technical drawings. You will work closely with design, project management, and production teams throughout the event lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed 2D layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sectional drawings for event setups, floral installations, and stage/backdrop structures - Create site plans considering venue dimensions, guest flow, seating arrangements, and production zones - Produce technical fabrication drawings for custom installations, mandaps, arches, and props with accurate measurements and material specs - Collaborate with designers to convert mood boards and renders into buildable CAD outputs - Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and on-ground production teams to ensure drawings translate accurately to execution - Support site recces with measured drawings and as-built documentation Requirements: - 25 years of proven experience in AutoCAD design, preferably in events, interiors, exhibitions, or production - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D, SketchUp, or Rhino is a plus) - Strong understanding of scale, dimensions, materials, and fabrication processes - Ability to read briefs, interpret design intent, and deliver under tight event timelines - Detail-oriented with strong spatial reasoning - Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil/Mechanical Drafting, or related field In addition to the above, experience with luxury weddings, corporate events, or experiential brand activations, working knowledge of rendering tools (V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape), and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite are considered nice-to-have qualifications for this role.
