Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect

As a Java GCP Solution Architect at this MNC company, your role will involve leading application migration and modernization to Google Cloud using Cloud Native architecture. Your responsibilities will include: - Engaging with key stakeholders to provide strategic thought leadership and help optimize Google Cloud adoption continuously. - Demonstrating first-hand experience in creating and operating Cloud-based landing zones in an enterprise environment with hybrid connectivity to on-premise network. - Utilizing your knowledge of GCP cloud environment/services like IAM, Networking, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, MemoryStore, GKE, etc. based on real migration projects. - Making critical solution design decisions and assessing enterprise applications to define future state architecture in the cloud. Qualifications Required: - Must have a minimum of 12+ years experience, with 6+ years specifically in application migration & modernization to Google Cloud. - Proficiency in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring batch, Spring boot cloud. - Experience with API, Microservice design principles, event-driven architecture, data integration, and event streaming architecture. - Knowledge of implementation of event-driven architecture, data integration, event streaming architecture, API driven architecture. - Ability to work with multiple teams to gather integration requirements, create Integration specification documents, write high-level and detailed designs. - Experience in Docker/containerization and working with DevOps principles. - Proficiency in communication to handle both customer and development team interactions effectively. In this strategic position, you will be connecting with top-level management for solution designing and proposals, focusing on migrating/modernizing Java-based legacy applications into Cloud Native architecture on GCP.
