Scala Developer

As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for backend development using Scala and will be working with advanced functional programming concepts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having a minimum of 5 years of experience in Scala backend development. - Demonstrating proficiency in Scala, encompassing both object-oriented and functional programming concepts, along with knowledge of the JVM ecosystem. - Applying advanced functional programming concepts such as category theory, monads, applicatives, and type classes. - Utilizing Scala Typelevel libraries like Cats, Shapeless, and others for developing applications with strong typing and efficient concurrency. - Proficiency in AWS services, specifically for deploying and managing backend systems. - Designing and consuming REST APIs effectively. - Understanding microservices architecture, multithreading, and asynchronous processing. - Hands-on experience with Docker containerization. - Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills along with debugging and troubleshooting experience. - Communicating effectively and collaborating with team members. - Writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough code reviews. - Implementing best practices for performance tuning, error handling, and logging. - Participating in architectural discussions and contributing to system design. - Ensuring data security and compliance across backend components.
