Azure Administrator (6-8 Years Experience) - Job Description Job Summary Seeking an Azure Administrator with 6-8 years of IT infrastructure and cloud administration experience. The candidate will manage, monitor, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments while supporting enterprise cloud operations and migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and governance. • Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, NSGs, Load Balancers, and VPN Gateways. • Configure and maintain Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Disaster Recovery solutions. • Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts. • Implement cloud security controls, RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and policy management. • Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, and performance issues. • Work with application teams during cloud migrations and deployments. • Maintain operational documentation and participate in incident management. Mandatory Skills 6-8 years of IT Infrastructure/Cloud Administration experience. • 4+ years of Microsoft Azure Administration experience. • Strong knowledge of Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security Services. • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, and Azure Site Recovery. • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and Conditional Access. • PowerShell scripting and automation. • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Preferred Skills Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep. • Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts. • Windows Server and Linux Administration. • Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). • ITIL process knowledge. Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) • Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
