About the role
Key Responsibilities Design and architect end-to-end Azure solutions leveraging IaaS and PaaS services. Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks. Lead Azure migration and modernization initiatives (on-prem to cloud / hybrid). Architect solutions using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, VNETs, Load Balancers, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, and Integration services. Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including security, scalability, performance, availability, and cost optimization. Implement cloud security best practices using Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud. Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions. Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams. Review and validate technical designs, build documents, and implementation plans. Support pre-sales, solutioning, and customer-facing architecture discussions (if applicable). Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS services . Expertise in: Azure Compute: VM, Scale Sets, App Services, AKS Azure Networking: VNET, NSG, Azure Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute Azure Storage: Blob, File, Queue, Disk Azure Databases: Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB (preferred) Experience with Hybrid Cloud and Azure Landing Zones . Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform . CI/CD and DevOps integration with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions . Monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights . Cost management and optimization using Azure Cost Management.
