DevOps Engineer cum Release Manager

Role: DevOps Engineer cum Release Manager Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad Exp: 8-12 yrs Mode of interview : virtual Must Have Skills: DevOps Engineer cum Release Manager - 2 Hands on in Containers (Dockers, Kubernetes) Pipeline Management & Environment Management - Expertise in CI CD tools and strong knowledge of git version control and branching strategies. Release & Change Management Security Management - Vulnerability Tracking & Driving them for Closure Tools: • Jenkins • GitLab • Splunk/Datadog • Rancher • ServiceNow • Fortify • Blackduck • Aegis • JIRA • Confluence Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role • DevOps Responsibilities o Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git. o Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Splunk, Datadog, etc. o Troubleshoot deployment issues, environment failures, and production incidents. o Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practices. o Maintain security compliance by vulnerability scanning, tracking, and driving resolution. • Release Management o Plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across multiple environments. o Create and manage release calendars and deployment schedules. o Coordinate with development, QA, security, and business teams for release readiness. o Conduct release impact analysis and risk assessments. o Ensure all deployment prerequisites, approvals, and change management activities are completed on time. o Document and manage all rollback strategies and contingency planning for production deployment. o Prepare and maintain release documentation, deployment checklist, and SOPs.
