Engineer

• Spearhead the migration effort from legacy HVR 5.7 architecture to the modern Fivetran HVR 6.2 platform

• Design, implement, and maintain complex HVR replication requirements across a diverse environment including Oracle, SQL Server, AWS RDS MySQL, Snowflake, and Salesforce

• Monitor replication latency, troubleshoot sync issues, and optimize HVR hub/agent performance to ensure data integrity and real-time delivery.

• Integrate and manage database-related workflows and replication tasks using Tidal Job Scheduler.

• Perform day-to-day administration of single-instance Oracle databases.

• Implement and manage Active Directory (AD) authentication for Oracle Database logins to ensure secure, centralized identity management.

• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and health checks.

• Proven experience with Fivetran HVR (formerly HVR Software), specifically managing hub-and-spoke replication architectures. Experience with version upgrades (5.x to 6.x) is highly preferred.

• Strong background as an Oracle DBA, with deep knowledge of architecture, RMAN backups, performance tuning, and patching for single-instance environments.

• Familiarity with workload automation tools, specifically Tidal Job Scheduler.

• Experience managing databases within AWS environments (e.g., AWS RDS).

Salary Range- $100,000-$125,000 a year
