JavaScript and jQuery Developer (8+ years)

Job Description: Senior JavaScript & jQuery Developer (8+ Years Experience) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer with strong expertise in jQuery to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of front-end development, modern JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to deliver scalable and efficient solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications using JavaScript and jQuery. • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices. • Develop and optimize UI components for maximum performance across browsers and devices. • Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability. • Debug and resolve complex technical issues in existing applications. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation. • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. • Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend systems. • Stay updated with evolving front-end technologies and recommend improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development. • Strong experience in core JavaScript (ES5/ES6+) and advanced programming concepts. • In-depth expertise in jQuery (DOM manipulation, AJAX, event handling). • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks. • Experience with cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON integration. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. • Hands-on experience with debugging tools and browser developer tools. • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices. Preferred Skills • Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Knowledge of TypeScript. • Exposure to build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). • Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Java, etc.) is a plus.
