Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary Skill: Experience in creating Microsoft Copilot Agents. Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning is a plus.

Should have hands-on coding experience in creating Microsoft Copilot Agents.

Experience: Minimum 10 years

o Power Platform expertise

§ Power Automate (Flows) -> Automation & Backend actions

§ Power Apps / Dataverse -> data storage and app integration

§ Power Fx basics -> logic expressions used in agents

o Copilot studio fundamentals

§ Topic, triggers, and conversation nodes

§ Agent flows vs skills (when to use each)

§ Adaptive cards for UI interactions

· Generative AI & LLM skills (Critical Differentiator)

o Understanding of LLM – driven agents

§ Prompt Design and grounding

§ Context management (multi-turn conversations)

§ Retrieval-based answers using enterprise data

o Prompt Engineering

§ Writing clear instructions for agents

§ Controlling tone, style, and output consistency

· Integration & API skills (Enterprise scale enabler)

o APIs and connection integration

§ Rest APIs

§ Custom connectors

§ Integration with internal platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, starburst in your ecosystem)

§ MS graphs

§ Azure Open AI/ AI services

§ MS 365 Integrations

· Pro-Code extension skills

o Programming languages

§ .NET/JavaScript/Python for building custom skills

§ Agent “skills” Development

· Build reusable backend capabilities (multi-step logic)

· Handle complex workflows (e.g. Booking, provisioning)

o YAML/Devops-style agent authoring

§ Define agents via configuration (lac -style) § Use tools for validation and automation

· Conversational and UX design skills

o Conversation Design

§ Writing natural, user-friendly dialogue

§ Handling ambiguity & fallback scenarios

o User journey thinking

§ Intent -> task completion -> escalation § Designing frictionless experiences

· Data & Governance skills (Critical in Banking context)

o Data grounding & governance § Connecting agents to enterprise knowledge sources
