Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities deally, should not be more than 3-5) • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCs, HA-SSO, mobility groups, RF profiles, and AP join processes. • Expertise with Cisco APs 9120, 9130, 9166 including RF tuning, band steering, and optimization. • Deep understanding of Cisco DNA Center (Assurance, SWIM, Templates, Telemetry). • Strong understanding of 802.11 standards, RF design, QoS, roaming, segmentation. • Knowledge of LAN (VLANs, STP, 802.1X) and WAN basics for wired-wireless integration. Good-to-Have • CCNP Enterprise Wireless or CCIE Wireless. • Experience with Cisco ISE for wireless authentication. • Familiarity with automation (Python, DNAC APIs). • Experience with Cisco Spaces, Prime, and monitoring tools. Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role Manage and optimize Cisco 9800 WLCs and wireless configurations. Operate Cisco DNAC for Assurance, SWIM, inventory, and automation. Deploy and maintain Cisco Access Points (9120/9130/9166). Perform wireless health monitoring and root-cause analysis across global sites. Coordinate with LAN/WAN teams for seamless wired-wireless integration. Support wireless upgrades including WLC IOS-XE and AP service packs. Maintain architecture documents, SOPs, and wireless design standards. Work with Cisco TAC for escalations, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Participate in wireless capacity planning, RF redesigns, and new site rollouts.
