Network Engineer DNS

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in managing/configuring Enterprise networks or DDI solutions

• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and IP address Management Protocols

• Experience with DDI tools (TCPWave, Bluecat or Infoblox) would be advantageous

• Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline

• Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

Services:

• Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide

resolutions to restore DDI services

• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service

• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and creating automation of repetitive tasks

• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and

procedures as necessary for DDI environment

• Collaborate with network architects, network security and network operations teams to implement

best practices for DDI services.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration

for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with

applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding

personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues

with transparency.

Deliverables:

• Deliver resilient and compliant DNS/DDI infrastructure

• Lead restoration and RCA for high impact DDI incidents

• Implement automated, standardized DDI operational processes

• Ensure secure, risk aware DDI service delivery

Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000 per year
