About the role
As an Industrial Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. With 5-10 years of experience, your primary focus will be on process optimization, productivity improvement, and implementing efficient manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time, improve productivity, and optimize costs. - Conduct time & motion studies and implement line balancing for efficient manpower and resource utilization. - Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, waste elimination) to enhance operational efficiency. - Develop and maintain capacity plans, monitor throughput, and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). - Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability, process readiness, and smooth product launches. - Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and material flow for improved space utilization and efficiency. - Identify production bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Supply Chain) to drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Utilize tools such as ERP/MES, Excel, Power BI, and Minitab for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making. - Ensure compliance with quality standards, support FMEA/SPC activities, and improve yield in SMT/PCBA/EMS operations. Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field. - Strong experience in lean manufacturing, line balancing, and EMS production environments like SMT, PCBA, and box build assembly.
