Data Visualization Engineer

You will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and visualization solutions using Tableau, Grafana, and Power BI to monitor business and operational KPIs. Additionally, you will create real-time monitoring dashboards for production, quality, and performance metrics to support operational decision-making. You will establish and maintain database connectivity with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases for seamless data integration with reporting tools. Writing, optimizing, and maintaining advanced SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and views for efficient data extraction and transformation will be part of your responsibilities. Designing and implementing data models and semantic layers to support scalable and high-performance reporting solutions is also key. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain ETL workflows to process, clean, and transform data for analytics and reporting. Integrating dashboards with APIs, cloud data sources, and enterprise systems to enable automated data ingestion and real-time updates will be essential. Configuring and managing Grafana dashboards with time-series for operational monitoring and developing Power BI data models and DAX calculations to create advanced analytical reports and business insights are also part of the role. Optimizing dashboard performance, database queries, and data pipelines to ensure high availability and fast response times will be crucial. Collaboration with business analysts, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical dashboard solutions is expected. Continuously enhancing reporting platforms by identifying automation opportunities, visualization improvements, and advanced analytics capabilities is also a key responsibility. In terms of Governance & Data Quality, you will be required to implement data validation, governance policies, and version control for reporting assets. Maintaining documentation for dashboards, data models, and integration processes will also be part of your duties. For Troubleshooting & Support, you will investigate and resolve issues related to dashboard failures, data refresh problems, and database connectivity. Providing technical support and continuous improvement for analytics platforms is also an essential part of the role.
