As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies to support new product introduction and production launches. Your role will involve designing and optimizing manufacturing workflows and layouts, as well as identifying and implementing automation opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting process validation and capability studies - Leading continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for process integration - Evaluating and selecting manufacturing equipment and tooling - Analyzing production data to identify improvement areas - Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards - Supporting capacity planning and line balancing activities - Driving standardization of manufacturing processes - Coordinating with suppliers for equipment and process development - Implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - Preparing technical reports and documentation Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering - 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development - Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing preferred Additional Details: The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling, along with experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD and process simulation tools, as well as strong project management and communication skills are essential for this role.
