About the role
Cooling Cad Engineer Scope of Role Cooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etc. Area of Responsibility
Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design Engineer for cooling systems. Responsible for CAD deliveries of cooling commodities – Hoses, Degas Tanks, Heat exchangers, etc. Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions. Should have a good understanding of vehicle package guideline. Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.
Knowledge / Experience – 2 to 5 Years Essential:
Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities. Support/Lead Design reviews and design changes respecting feasibility and timeline Timely CAD completion for S/T/P releases Understanding of commodity release & change management Understanding of Proto & Production BOM Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter. GD&T knowledge is a must. Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
