· We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with experience in Piston Design and strong proficiency in PTC Creo . The ideal candidate should have a background in the Automotive Industry , preferably in powertrain or engine components, and be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing piston components while ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements. · Key Responsibilities · Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of piston components using PTC Creo . · Design and develop pistons, piston rings, and related engine components as per customer and project requirements. · Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T implementation. · Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams during product development. · Support new product development and engineering change management activities. · Ensure designs comply with automotive standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing feasibility. · Participate in DFMEA, design reviews, and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders. · Prepare technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and engineering change requests. · Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams for prototype and production support. · Required Skills · Strong experience in PTC Creo (3D Modeling & Drafting) . · Experience in Piston Design and engine component development. · Good understanding of GD&T, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing . · Knowledge of automotive product development processes. · Experience with engineering drawings, BOM management, and change control processes. · Understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and forging. · Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, and quality standards. · Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. · Experience in automotive powertrain, engine, or piston manufacturing industry. · Exposure to PLM tools such as Windchill will be an added advantage. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
