About the role
Role & Responsibilities: Facilitate and manage DFMEA activities for automotive product development programs. Ensure compliance with AIAG-VDA and SAE J1739 DFMEA standards. Conduct DFMEA reviews and risk assessments with cross-functional teams. Track DFMEA maturity, actions, and risk metrics throughout program milestones. Support engineering teams by providing DFMEA guidance and training. Review design changes and assess impact on DFMEA documents. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned implementation. Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams. Generate DFMEA reports and support sign-off activities. Preferred Candidate Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Electrical, or related Engineering. 2-8 years of experience in DFMEA, APQP, Product Development, or Automotive Engineering. Knowledge of AIAG-VDA FMEA Manual and SAE J1739 standards. Experience in Failure Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Automotive Product Development. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
