Discrete Event Simulation Job Profile:

Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements. Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation Process Flow, Material Flow and Throughput Simulations: Simulate various material flow scenarios to identify potential bottlenecks, minimized buffer size and optimize throughput. AGV Routes optimization: Simulate AGV operations to identify and mitigate traffic concerns, including static clash detection and gridlock identification. Conduct specific experiments on facility process efficiency, operator travel time. Able to work in both 2D and 3D Simulation. Operator Efficiency: Assess operator travel time.
