Typical task breakdown:

Engages with engineering personnel to review test plans, such as types and cycles of tests, conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and duration of tests. (gage map, test runs) Utilizes a basic understanding of controls and instrumentation to submit the appropriate work orders for the necessary hardware, ensuring it is ready on time. Examines parts for conformance, using precision measuring instruments; recommends replacement of defective parts where needed. Monitors controls and instruments, records test data for engineers. Under general supervision, provides basic data analysis to ensure quality. Collaborates with engineers regarding data analysis and conclusions.
