Role & responsibilities Experience : 4-6 Years Job Location : Vemangal (Bangalore ) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant with 46 years of hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP Production Planning solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP PP, experience with end-to-end manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to production planning and manufacturing. Configure and support SAP PP modules, including: Material Master Bill of Materials (BOM) Work Centers Routings Production Versions Production Orders MRP Material Requirements Planning) Capacity Planning Perform system configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities. Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP PP-related issues. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, and FICO. Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects. Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Develop user documentation and deliver end-user training. Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and organizational standards. Required Skills 46 years of hands-on SAP PP functional experience. Strong knowledge of: Production Planning (PP) MRP Production Orders BOM Routings Work Centers Capacity Planning Production Versions Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP is preferred. Good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Experience with SAP integration across MM, QM, SD, PM, and WM/EWM. Knowledge of batch management and serial number management is an advantage. Experience in preparing functional specifications and supporting custom developments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP PP certification is preferred. Experience in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, or Chemicals is desirable. Preferred Experience At least one end-to-end SAP implementation project. Experience in AMS (Application Management Support), rollout, or enhancement projects. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration activities. Exposure to Agile or SAP Activate methodologies is an advantage.
