About the role
Shift - Rotational Shifts Key Skills ANYONE AWS Kubernetes - Docker AWS Terraform - Docker AWS Kafka + Networking - Docker AWS Python/GoLang - Docker About the Role: As a Devops Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design, build, and maintain highly available and resilient systems. Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. DevOps Practices: Implement and promote DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing. Kubernetes Expertise: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications. Incident Response: Handle system failures and outages, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence. Capacity Planning: Ensure system resources can handle increased load and scale systems accordingly. Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues. Automation: Build tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to improve system reliability and performance. Required Skills: Robust proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Ansible) Strong Python experience Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Besides the above, they also need to have experience in Docker containerization tools & Yaml as well. .
