Job Overview We are seeking a data-driven Data Insights Analyst to transform marketing and sales data into actionable insights that drive business growth. The role involves partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, developing dashboards and visualizations, analyzing performance trends, and delivering data-driven recommendations using analytics, BI tools, and emerging AI/ML technologies. Additionally, the analyst will conduct regular and ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities, optimize business performance, and support strategic decision-making. Roles & Responsibility - Problem Solving: Translate complex business and customer challenges into data-driven hypotheses and actionable recommendations. - Insight Generation: Proactively uncover insights that go beyond descriptive analytics to inform strategic marketing and sales decisions. Strong ability to map and analyze the full Buyer's Journey, connecting marketing metrics, lead funnel stages, and sales performance indicators (e.g., pipeline, conversion, revenue) to drive strategic insights and business impact. i.e - Provide strategic insights across campaign performance, sales funnel activity, and web behavior. - Data Storytelling: Create compelling narratives and intuitive visualizations that simplify complex data and drive stakeholder action. Present data in a compelling, audience-friendly format, with a robust emphasis on storytelling. - Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design, build, automate and maintain end-to-end BI solutions to track marketing performance, campaign ROI, and customer engagement. - AI/ML Application: Apply machine learning techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, NLP) to forecast behavior and optimize marketing strategies. - Impact Quantification: Use statistical analysis / advanced analytical techniques to measure the impact of marketing initiatives on KPIs such as revenue, retention, customer lifetime value, attribution and A/B testing. - Campaign & Demand Analysis: Evaluate marketing campaigns and demand generation programs to assess their impact on lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. - Cross-Tactic Data Analysis: Analyze data from CRM, web analytics, social media, email, search, and sales channels etc. to identify optimization opportunities. - Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver timely, insightful analyses to address specific business questions or challenges. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and marketers to align priorities and timelines. - Project Management: Manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to deadlines, scope, and quality. Education/Knowledge Desired candidate profile: - University degree or college in Statistics, Business or Marketing. Critical Experience - 5+ years in data analysis, account management, or business intelligence, with a strong ability to work across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. - Expertise in analytical modeling, ML methodologies, and data visualization to elevate our data-driven culture and deliver actionable insights that optimize business performance. - Expertise in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights, with strong storytelling and presentation skills. - Proven success coalescing, analyzing, synthesizing and contextualizing complex data sets (qualitative and quantitative) to deliver metrics, insights, advanced machine learning / AI analytics, with actionable recommendations - Proficient in analytics and visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, MS Fabric, Alteryx and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). - Experience working on data from marketing automation, CRM, and digital analytics. platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics Eloqua, Ad platforms, Salesforce). - Experience working with data lakes or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus. - Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research platforms, such as UserZoom and Qualtrics is a plus. - Strong understanding of AI-driven insights, including generative and predictive models for business reporting. - Exceptional communication and meeting management skills, with fluency in English. - Analytical thinker with strong business acumen, able to synthesize data and derive meaningful, strategic conclusions. - Collaborative and self-driven, equally effective in team settings or independent roles. - Familiarity with statistical analysis, marketing attribution, and predictive analytics is a plus.
