Development of new products and development of constructive solutions from the first idea to implementation
Construction and CAD modelling of products, components, tools and devices as well as simple special machines
Creation of the design concepts as well as the production-ready individual part and assembly drawings, as well as parts lists
Consideration of relevant standards and regulations during implementation
Creation of technical documentation and specifications
Presentation of results
Participation in a development team
Interdisciplinary cooperation within the company and with suppliers
Your ideal background
Bachelor’s, master’s or graduate engineer (FH/ TU) of mechanical engineering or a comparable field
Professional experience in the field of product design
Knowledge in the field of polymer technology, preferably in elastomers and electrical power product development desirable
Experience in the design of ferrous, nonferrous and plastic components
CAD knowledge with PTC Windchill / Creo
Knowledge in the field of mechanical simulation with Ansys WB
Solid PC skills (MS Office)
Good knowledge of spoken and written English
Evaluation, documentation and presentation of the development results in a global development team
Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, self motivation
Independent way of working, results driven working behaviour
Nice to have: Thermo set material knowledge (Epoxy, EPDM,...)
