About the role

Job Overview Analyze and solve production engineering and new project qualification issues with the objective of ensuring new project and migration project launch on time and production by order and improving efficiency within the supervision of Sr. Manager PBL organization. As a PBL manufacturing engineer to work with cross functions and PBL suppliers, to response for the new products quotation and process design and sample qualification, and to support sourcing to drive productivity and on time delivery etc. train and support PBL suppliers to improve their capability. Job Requirements Supplier Engineering Capability (i)support Sourcing for new supplier qualification (ii) support Sourcing for supplier exit (iii) support SQE for supplier audit (iv) supplier assessment, to improve supplier capability New Project (i) support Sourcing for new product quotation and supplier selection (ii) as project leader (if no PJE or PJM), to manage new project for on schedule approval (iii) as manufacturing engineer, to support supplier for DFM and PFMEA etc. preparation and design review etc. (iv) as manufacturing engineer, to support supplier for process and tool design and qualification (v) follow up sample making issues and sample on time delivery which requested by customer or PDE. and work with cross function team members and supplier for improvement until approval (vi) work with PBL suppliers for packing design and qualification test (vii) work with supplier to get all engineering documents done (viii) work with SQE and supplier for safe launch process audit Sustain Product (i) work with Sourcing and supplier to review and improve capacity, including/lead copied tool qualification (ii)work with SQE and supplier to improve process yield and any quality problems (iii)follow EC change and 4M change (iv) follow material change (alternative), to work with team members to lead new material qualification progress (v) follow supplier change or migration project (from TE plant to PBL supplier), to work with cross function team members and supplier to follow qualification Productivity (i) work with suppliers and team members to find improvement opportunities, such as process, material, plating, packing etc. (ii) follow VAVE project, work with supplier and team members to drive the project and cost reduction (iii) support Sourcing for cost reduction Capex Management and Equipment Maintenance (i) follow capex qualification, and work with Finance and sourcing and PBL supplier to manage that capex well (ii) support PBL supplier to prepare equipment and tool maintenance plan and monitor the plan conducted well by supplier What your background should look like Bachelors degree (Mechanical) related background Total Working experience 8years above Over 5 years Connector and / or Cable manufacturing engineering experiences preferred Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
