- Deep Reliability Engineering Expertise
Minimum 7-10 years of hands‑on experience in reliability engineering, covering:
Reliability modeling and prediction
Reliability strategy and planning
Accelerated and destructive reliability testing
Reliability failure analysis and corrective action
Reliability calculations such as FIT, MTTF, MTBF
Statistical analysis (e.g., Weibull analysis, chi‑square methods, basic Bayesian concepts)
Strong ability to connect test data, field data, and engineering judgment to drive data‑based reliability decisions.
- Reliability Strategy & Test Plan Ownership
Independently define and lead end‑to‑end reliability strategies aligned with:
Product architecture, materials, and operating environments
Customer Reliability Requirements and mission profiles
Industry standards and best practices
Create and own reliability test plans (e.g., HALT, HAST, ALT, Test‑to‑Failure) that balance technical risk, development timelines, cost, and business impact.
- New Product Development (NPI) Lifecycle Knowledge
Strong understanding of structured new product development processes .
Ability to tailor reliability activities to each development phase, including:
Concept and feasibility
Design verification
