About the role
As a skilled Network Monitoring Engineer with 4-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise network monitoring environments using Entuity Network Analytics. - Deploy, configure, and manage Entuity Network Analytics at enterprise scale - Monitor network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and load balancers - Configure polling, thresholds, alerts, dashboards, and reports - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network and performance issues - Integrate Entuity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, etc. - Monitor network using SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, and REST APIs - Integrate and monitor SD-WAN controller platforms - Design and implement API-based data ingestion and automation - Optimize alerting to reduce noise and improve monitoring efficiency - Support capacity planning, SLA reporting, upgrades, and system health checks - Collaborate with Network, NOC, and Infrastructure teams Qualifications Required: - 4-8 years of experience in Network Monitoring / Network Operations - Strong hands-on experience with Entuity (mandatory) - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, SNMP, VLANs, Routing & Switching - Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP - Experience with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, F5) - Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, and authentication methods - Hands-on scripting experience (Python preferred) - Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems - Familiarity with ITIL processes Additional Details: Experience with hybrid/cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform would be beneficial. Certifications in ITIL, SD-WAN, Cisco, or Meraki are considered a plus. Exposure to other monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Netcool, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes is a bonus.
