Job Title: L2 Network Engineer Routing & Switching | Cisco SD-WAN | Cisco ACI Experience: 5+ Years Location: Chennai (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Certification: Mandatory Active CCNP Certification Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer with strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Cisco SD-WAN, and Cisco ACI . The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations, troubleshooting, implementation, and support. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and optimal network performance. Key Responsibilities Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Routing & Switching infrastructure. Manage and support Cisco SD-WAN deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) environments. Monitor network performance and resolve L2/L3 network incidents within defined SLAs. Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, NAT, and QoS. Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and Static Routing . Perform network changes, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams during implementation and incident resolution. Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures. Participate in planned maintenance, change management, and root cause analysis (RCA). Ensure network security best practices and compliance with organizational standards. Required Technical Skills Mandatory Active CCNP Certification Cisco Routing & Switching Cisco SD-WAN Cisco ACI OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Static Routing VLAN, STP, EtherChannel HSRP/VRRP ACL, NAT, QoS LAN/WAN Technologies TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst & Nexus Switches Cisco ISR/ASR Routers Incident & Change Management Required Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking. Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Cisco SD-WAN, and Cisco ACI . Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues and supporting production environments. Good understanding of ITIL processes and SLA-driven support. Preferred Skills Experience with enterprise data center environments. Exposure to network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime, etc.). Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment. Mandatory Requirements Active CCNP Certification (Mandatory) 5+ years of relevant experience in Routing & Switching, Cisco SD-WAN, and Cisco ACI. Work Location: Chennai (Onsite). Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
