As a Front-End Software Engineer at TeamViewer, your role involves building modern, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using React and MUI Base. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable applications used across the organization. Your responsibilities include: - Developing responsive and high-quality front-end applications using React and MUI Base. - Building reusable UI components and contributing to the design system. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into production-ready components. - Integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and working with backend engineers on contract design. - Maintaining code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and best practices. - Optimizing application performance, loading times, and UI responsiveness. - Participating in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Contributing to documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Staying up to date on front-end technologies, accessibility standards, and MUI/React ecosystem updates. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong commercial experience with React (Hooks, Context API, functional components). - Hands-on experience with MUI Base or related component libraries. - Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches. - Experience with consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL) and familiarity with modern front-end tooling. - Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility. - Experience with version control tools (Git) and agile workflows. Nice-to-have skills include experience with MUI theming, micro-frontends, modular front-end architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and UX principles and design tooling.
