Software Quality Assurance Intern

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance Intern to support our QA team in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world testing processes, tools, and agile development practices. Key Responsibilities: Assist in testing web and/or mobile applications to identify bugs, errors, and usability issuesExecute manual test cases and document test results clearlyHelp create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentationReport defects with detailed steps to reproduce and collaborate with developers on fixesParticipate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA review meetingsPerform regression, functional, and basic performance testingLearn and follow QA best practices and software development life cycle (SDLC) processesRequired Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related fieldBasic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologiesFamiliarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and willingness to learnPreferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure, Jira, Bugzilla)Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesBasic programming or scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)What Youll Gain: Hands-on experience in software quality assuranceExposure to real-world software development environmentsMentorship from experienced QA and development professionalsOpportunity to convert to a full-time role (performance-based)Job Type: Internship Compensation: 10,000.00 - 15,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
