Role – Hyland OnBase Architect

Location – Remote (USA)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hyland OnBase Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and governance of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions utilizing the Hyland OnBase platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OnBase architecture, document management, workflow automation, integrations, solution modernization, and enterprise application design. The Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high performing content management solutions that support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Define enterprise-wide OnBase architecture, standards, and best practices.

Design scalable ECM solutions leveraging OnBase modules including:

Document Management, Workflow

Unity Forms, Unity Client

Reporting Dashboards, Case Management

Document Composition, Capture and OCR

Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.

Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment strategies.

Platform Administration & Performance

Provide guidance on OnBase infrastructure architecture.

Review and optimize system performance, scalability, and availability.

Support platform upgrades, migrations, and patching strategies.

Establish disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity approaches.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with business users and leadership teams to identify automation opportunities.

Facilitate architecture workshops and technical discussions.

Present solution designs and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Support project planning, estimation, and roadmap development.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, regulatory, and data governance requirements.

Establish architecture review processes and implementation standards.

Ensure adherence to organizational ECM strategies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Hyland OnBase Expertise

Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise scale OnBase solutions.

Deep knowledge of:

OnBase Workflow, Unity Forms, Unity Client, Document Management

Document Retention, Reporting Dashboards, Case Management

Enterprise Search, Capture/OCR Solutions

The pay range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
