Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior PHP Lead to lead and manage on-site project activities while ensuring seamless collaboration with offshore teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site project activities between development teams, clients, and stakeholders.

• Actively participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Collaborate closely with offshore development teams to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Ensure smooth integration and communication between on-site and offshore teams.

• Take ownership of end-to-end PHP project lifecycle, including:

o Architecture design

o Development

o Testing

o Deployment

• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues.

• Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and updates.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:

o PHP

o Power BI

o Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies:

o HTML

o CSS

o JavaScript

• Strong knowledge of relational databases:

o MySQL

o PostgreSQL

• Expertise in SQL optimization techniques.

• Experience in:

o Developing RESTful APIs

o Integrating third-party services

• Familiarity with:

o Git and version control systems

o Deployment and release processes

Good to Have

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as:

o Laravel

o CodeIgniter

o Symfony (optional advantage)

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with clients and teams.

• Proven experience in:

o Leading PHP development teams

o Managing on-site project delivery

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in PHP development (preferred).

• Prior experience in onsite-offshore coordination model is a strong advantage.

The pay range for this role is $120 - $125* per hr including any bonuses or variable pay.
