We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Python to join our dynamic team at TechM in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a deep understanding of Python programming and its applications in various projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall success of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications using Python.

• Lead software development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices are followed.

• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, implementing effective solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance software development processes.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Expertise in Python programming language, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating proficiency.

• Extensive experience in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

• Proficiency in database management systems, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.

• Knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 15+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Python.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
