SAP ABAP Consultant

Description We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-11 years of experience in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP applications and interfaces within our SAP environment. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces. Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements. Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards. Provide support for SAP system upgrades and enhancements. Conduct unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP programs and processes. Skills and Qualifications 6-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO) and their integration points. Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ALV reports, BAPIs, and enhancements. Experience with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an advantage. Familiarity with SAP Workflow and Smart Forms. Good understanding of database concepts and SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
