• DriveWorks Engineer / DriveWorks Developer ‿ Job Description (Short)

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using DriveWorks integrated with SOLIDWORKS.

• Create and manage Forms, Rules, Variables, Calculations, and Data Tables.

• Automate 3D models, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, PDFs, and manufacturing documents.

• Integrate DriveWorks with ERP, CRM, Excel, SQL databases, and web portals.

• Analyze customer requirements and convert them into automated design workflows.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing DriveWorks projects for performance and accuracy.

• Support implementation, testing, deployment, and user training.

• Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to improve productivity.

• Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Solidworks API to join our dynamic team at TechM. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of creating and implementing solutions that enhance the functionality of Solidworks. This role requires a deep understanding of the Solidworks API, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications utilizing Solidworks API to improve design processes.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Implement and test software solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and project timelines.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing software applications.

• Document software designs, processes, and user manuals for future reference.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Solidworks and software development.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Solidworks API.

• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, or similar.

• Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices.

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CAD software development.

• Familiarity with database management systems and data integration.

• Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks.
