We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in data pipeline development and management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Apache Airflow, which is a deal breaker for this role. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data architectures that support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Apache Airflow.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high quality data solutions.

• Implement data integration processes to ensure data accuracy and availability across various platforms.

• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.

• Document data processes and maintain data lineage for compliance and auditing purposes.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.

• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.

• Solid understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Knowledge of Python or Java for data processing and automation.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering data projects on time and within scope.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
