We are seeking a skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in PLC and SCADA systems, particularly in the context of IT OT integration within the Energy and Utilities (E&U) sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining robust platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of control systems and the ability to bridge the gap between IT and operational technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for platform and product development in the E&U sector.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with IT infrastructure, focusing on data flow and system interoperability.

• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SCADA and PLC systems.

• Document system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SCADA, PLC, and IT OT integration.

• Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on development progress.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and PLC programming.

• Experience with IT OT integration in the Energy and Utilities sector.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

• Familiarity with database management systems and data analytics tools.

• Understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity principles related to industrial control systems.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Ignition Platform

• Knowledge in SQL Database

• Experience in python scripting

• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5 7 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically in SCADA and PLC environments.

• Proven experience in IT OT integration projects.

• Relevant certifications in SCADA, PLC, or related technologies are a plus.
